The Anthony Wayne Band Boosters support all the bands in the Anthony Wayne Local School District in Whitehouse, Ohio from grades 5 through 12. The AWBB is one of the greatest volunteeer support groups in Northwest Ohio. The AWBB needs each and every one of you to "...promote the instrumental program of the Anthony Wayne School District.", and support your student's musical endeavors. The "...parents of students participating in the band program of the Anthony Wayne School District, Band directors, and other persons interested in the purpose of the boosters" must work together every day to maintain, grow and develop this great program. The AWBB is here for our students.



In both verbal and math scores, high school student-musicians outpace peers. The College Entrance Examination Board reports, "Students of the arts continue to outperform their non-arts peers on the SAT. In 2001, SAT takers with coursework/experience in music performance scored 57 points higher on the verbal portion of the test and 41 points higher on the math portion than students without coursework/experience in the arts."
